This lady is brutally honest! Wow!!
There is nothing new under the sun. I am going to start by answering your last question. Any regrets? Absolutely none. A writer once said “Alone, a man is sincere to himself but from the approach of another, hypocrisy begins”. In the quiet of my room, I have pondered on my actions and inactions and I have come to the conclusion that life is in phases and I went through a phase that I am not ashamed of. We all know what we are doing. So before anyone bashes me here, know that I have already bashed myself and so I won’t feel an iota of hurt.
In my 300 level, with my vision very clear, my father still very rich and my emotions very intact, I knowingly walked into a “symbiotic (mutually beneficial)” relationship with a married man for 3 damn years!! Was the talk of the department, it still paid off as I made “best Graduating Student”. This married man got admitted for his third degree and he had to start from 300 level.
I guess he was too busy to read and he was all about acquiring certificates and so it turned out that when he resumed. With his influence, he spoke to a lecturer to link him up with a very studious and smart student so that he doesn’t have to stress himself while also clearing all his papers. I was that student!. Although I didn’t know that I was being used in that regard. It started casually. He would buy lots of things for my colleagues both male and female but would get me the most things. I didn’t read a single meaning to it. He would call and say “hello colleague, please I won’t be around for two weeks, could you help me with all my assignments and when there’s a test, help me write it and I assure you that should in case you encounter any difficulty while trying to help me with the test, I’ll bail you out smoothly”. So it began, my journey of a “double academic life”. My father would turn in his grave if he knows his “graceful and excellent daughter” did this.
In life, nothing lasts forever. After many weeks, I began to be tired of helping this man because while working on group projects as the lead and studying for my exams and helping him it began to take a toll on me. I didn’t tell him all that. I just slacked and made up many excuses. One day he sent a senior colleague to me to make his intentions known that he was asking me out. This came as a rude shock to me. I was 24. Was disvirgined at 22 and just recently lost that relationship. I didn’t speak to him for days and his academics was suffering. He didn’t want any other student to help him except me. I confided in a girlfriend of mine and she said “well, I can’t force you to do what you wouldn’t want to do, but trust me, you would never be the looser if you date him”.
Evil communication corrupts good manners. That’s a lie ooo, na me wan spoil. After few days, my journey into the world of dating a married man began. Within a space of two months, with his influence, received my state scholarship (I was on scholarship till I graduated). My father was still sending my fees, married man was still boxing me up bastardly, I was doing all his school work and leaving no stone unturned. The sex was mind blowing. Everybody was happy. I came out best Graduating and he followed at my back. (no way was I going to allow him to stand in front).
Writing this just made me remember him with smiles. We all have that story!! Thank you for your time.

She just recently started dating a married man who promised to buy her a car. She’s enjoying it.
I recently started dating a married man and to be honest it has been the best relationship so far. I’ve experienced things I haven’t experienced before. His wife isn’t aware of the relationship. I don’t even bother knowing her. He has been amazing and I don’t know if in the future I will regret it but as of now, I enjoy it. He’s there for me financially, emotionally.
There are some things I can’t tell my friends that I tell him. I have this trust and respect for him because apart from what we’re doing, he respects himself. He encourages me to be better especially at school and he promised if I graduated with a 2nd class upper he’s going to get a car for me. I know what I’m doing is wrong but this is my best so far. I got in trouble in school recently with a lecturer and he was the one that came to sort it out for me under the guise of “being my uncle”. I don’t know what I would have done at that point, but he has come through for me severally. I don’t sleep around, it’s funny. I’m being faithful because of infections shaa. We talk well and there are ways he handles things a boyfriend can’t. There are things I may be complaining about that once he just places a call, it’s settled. Maybe in the future I may regret this but I don’t for now.
