She has resigned to her fate. She now sees him as a mutual friend.
Even as a married woman, I’ve learnt so many things about my gender. I can say that advice from my late grandmother, late mum and mother in-law have kept me put in my marriage.
I witnessed my dad cheat on my mum, it wasn’t funny. They all told me, ” never leave your home because your husband entered into another woman’s arms, rather, use that opportunity to make yourself useful, beautiful and glow”. No amount of love showered on a man will make him not look outside. If he doesn’t look for temptation, temptation will come looking for him. “3 things makes or mar a man: money, alcohol and women. Either he controls them or they control him”. Initially, it was difficult to allow these advices to sink in. Each time I found out he cheated which was frequent in our early years of marriage, I would focus on the voices of these 3 lovely women and then I move on.
Funny enough, I get to witness most of them marry and wish them the experience they made me pass through. I stayed back because I was warned on time. I’ve built my home with sweat and grit so leaving because of a small girl that saw money as an excuse to have a fling with a married man is not worth it. I’m not saying he has stopped cheating o, but because of these 3 mothers and many other older generations filled with wisdom I’ve stayed put.
We may not have the love we once shared but we now relate like mutual friends. Life is still going on.

He has been cheating and she has been begging him for over 10 years to give her head. She’s threatening to deal with him if she discovers he has been giving his mistresses head.
After a month or so after my wedding, my brother called me to tell my husband to leave his girlfriend alone. I nearly ran mad. I asked my husband what was his relationship with her because I knew her, he gave me flimsy excuse, changed my phone and got me a laptop to keep me quiet. I was so young and naïve, so I did keep quiet. I discovered that he was still in touch with her afterwards, claimed he had nothing to do with her, just being good friends, if I check his phone, it becomes a big issue even up till now after 5 kids.
My pain is, this man is all romantic and cozy and caring with them and never with me. I have literally been begging him to give me head for over a decade now, still no agreement from him. I was naïve sexually when I married him but I read and I did research on a lot of things to make myself better. Still, I feel I am not good enough for him. He provides and trained me in school, I used the school he trained me to make my kids academically sound because I am very brilliant, but I feel under appreciated.
I will never forgive him if I found out that he is giving ladies head and doing crazy things with them that I have begged him for more than 10 years now. I swear I will make him cry even if it takes me a lifetime to do because he is smart and funny but he will cry blood that day.

She caught him cheating but she still sees him as a great husband and great father.
I caught my husband cheating once (in our 7th year). I got to know he cheated through his phone. I followed his conversation with the lady. Sadly, I know the lady, she doesn’t stay in the same state as us so they agreed to meet and knack when she visits town. She came to do shopping for her wedding which was in 3weeks and it happened.
I knew he was going to knack when he left home that day. He was all jittery and couldn’t even pretend. The next day, the lady came to the shop to greet me. See too much effrontery, she was acting all nice and respectful. I was so pissed, I sent our boys and sales girls away and told them I know what happened the night before. Hubby was there and was so shocked, I knew about it because I hugged, kissed & prayed for him as usual when he was leaving for that morning.
I was shocked and broken because I could swear he was different. He apologized sincerely and I forgave him, it took me a while though. I honestly don’t know if he has cheated again but I know he is still a great husband and a great dad.
